You know, one of the last things that Jesus commanded us to do was to go into the world, and to teach. And at Crestview, that's a significant part of our mission.
We have a robust selection of offerings for people of all ages - and designed to meet every family's needs. So dive in, and see what more there is to be found in your study and your walk with Christ. Click on one of the following links to find the place where you'll fit in best!
Let the little children come . . .
Throughout the gospels, Jesus has a real heart for little children and especially for their faith! At Crestview, we share that same concern. Our children's ministries aren't merely another babysitting service, but a chance for us to introduce children to Jesus Christ early in life.We understand that children have different learning styles, so we pour our resources into making the message engaging and fun. Age appropriate games, activities, skits, songs, and videos are all part of both hours for children of all ages. At 9:30 and 11:00, children in kindergarten through grade 6 are invited into "big church" to learn to worship our great God, and after a Children's Time in worship are dismissed to their individual groups.
We bring the fullness of our creativity to encourage your children into a life-long journey of inquiry and discovery of God. See you on Sunday!
5th and 6th Graders Grapple with God's Word and enjoy Great Fun!
Unless you're the parent of a 5th or 6th grader, you might not notice what's been going on in Room 103 down the Victory Village hallway. At 9:30 on Sundays, our preteens dig into the Bible to grapple with faith and life issues like What if Jesus is a liar? or Do I have to like everybody? or Did God really write the Bible? Their team of leaders (Jessica Sams, Jenny Burns, and Jane Temple) really understand this age group and invest deeply into this experience.
During the week, the kids have the opportunity to participate in MyGrapple.com--a built-in on-line community. It’s packed with clues about upcoming lessons, discussion starters, games, and polls for them to vote about what activities they want to do in future lessons. They can also post God sightings, send prayer requests, care cards, and messages to each other and their leaders.
AND, once a month on Sunday afternoons, they get together just for fun! They've been rock climbing, ice skating, gone to a movie at Rave, had a pizza party, and gone glow-bowling at Loveland Lanes.
Being a 5th or 6th Grader at Crestview is a great place to be--spread the word!
Victory Village
Victory Village is the name of the Children's Ministry area at Crestview. Located in the middle of the building, just west of the Middle Sanctuary (look for the lamppost and welcome desk!), we are building a streetscape just for boys and girls.
When construction is completed on Phase 1, our nursery entry will look like a pet shop (Paul's Pets), and the toddlers' like a toy store (Noah's Two-by-Two). Across the way, the girls' restroom will look like a beauty shop (Esther's Imperial Salon), and the boys' restroom will be called "Samson's Snips." Around the corner, children will delight in the window display of the sporting goods store (Phillip's Finish Line), just opposite the Village Post Office. Our volunteer construction crews look to finish Phase 1 by the end of May.
When children enter Victory Village, they already know Crestview loves kids, and so does Jesus! Our warm staff greets them with hugs and high-fives and calls each one by name. With the addition of these added "cosmetic" touches, they'll be even more confident that being part of God's family is where they want to be.
Watch this space for further details on Phase 2!

Victory Village Early May Update
The guys have been hard at work the last two Saturdays, and it shows! Siding is completely finished for Paul’s Pet Shop and Noah’s Two-by-Two Toy Store, and some of the trim is up around the doors. The siding for Esther’s Imperial Salon goes up next. The brick for Samson’s Snips and Philip’s Finish Line will be contracted out to a professional, so it will be one of the last things to be installed, but that’s ok—it will only take a few days!
We’re losing a couple of weekends—April 26/27 and May 2/3—due to the garage sale and the Women’s Retreat (dads have to take care of children, you know), but will be back working soon. Painters and seamstresses, it's almost your turn!
