Whether things are going really well, or if you need a hand, we've got a tremendous amount of people who are looking for a way to take care of you and your loved ones. This group for men will be engaging in personal scripture studies. We meet at the Perkins on Tylersville Road at 6:30 am on Friday mornings.

Presbyterian Women’s Board
The board commits to nurture the faith of women through prayer and Bible study, supports the mission of the church worldwide, works for justice and peace and to build an inclusive, caring community of women that strengthens the Presbyterian Church USA and witnesses to the promise of God’s kingdom.
Locally, the board includes all women of Crestview as members and continues to support local missions by coordinating a variety of fundraisers. We bring our members together at two major events, the Mothers Day Brunch and the Christmas Brunch. We support the existing women’s small groups and invite all to participate in any of our activities. Childcare is provided.
The board meets on the first Wednesday of the month (excluding June, July, and August) at 9:45 a.m. at the church.

Faith Circle
This is a group of dedicated, caring women who meet regularly on the fourth Thursday of each month at the church. We begin at 9:15 a.m.; we have social time with refreshments, then a business meeting, a devotion and a book study. We currently have 33 members and still invite new members.

Friendship Circle
Friendship Circle is a small group women’s ministry. Childcare is provided. The bulk of our time together is spent discussing a curriculum selected by members of the group.
We meet the second and fourth Wednesday of the month, from September – May. 9:30-11:00 a.m. at the church.

Hannah Circle
Hannah Circle is a small group women’s ministry. We take turns hosting meetings in our homes (not a requirement). We meet on the third Wednesday of the month at 9:30 a.m. The hostess provides light refreshments and we go out for lunch at noon. We have a committee that chooses a book for study and we take turns leading the study (leading study is not a requirement). We do not meet for the months of July, August and December.

Empty Nesters
This is a group of adults over the age of 60 who no longer have children at home. Meetings are in the chapel on the third Friday evening of each month with a program and refreshments. During the summer months, no regularly scheduled meetings occur, but we attend the Blue Ash Concerts in the park and picnic prior to the concert. We welcome anyone who would like to join.

Young Couples
This is a small group for couples who are in the 20’s and 30’s age groups. We focus on fellowship, Bible study and prayer. We meet weekly on Tuesdays starting at 7:00p.m. The location is at one of our member’s homes.

Mamas and Papas
This group is primarily made up of people in the age range of 30-45 who have children that are in elementary and middle school, or who have no children. Activities include bowling, parties, and potluck dinners. We meet once a month for planned events.

Baby Boomers
The Baby Boomers are individuals ages 40-55 who are parents of teens and young adults. Activities include parties, restaurant outings, cookouts and concerts. These events are held generally on the second or third Saturday of the month.

Empty Pockets
This social group formed when the members mostly had children in college – hence the name “Empty Pockets.” That was a few years ago so now most of the members are in their 50’s and 60’s. We get together five or six times per year for food and fellowship at planned events. We welcome new members into the group.

Funtimers
Funtimers is a group of retired or semi-retired persons. The purpose of the Funtimers is to follow the teachings of Jesus by developing friendships, promoting good will, and helping to meet the needs of its members through telephone contact, prayer chains, visitation and meaningful meetings.
They get together on the second Wednesday of each month for a potluck lunch followed by a scheduled program. They also meet on the fourth Friday of each month for a ‘brown bag’ lunch. These meetings are generally held at the church. From June – November, they occasionally take trips to places of interest in the surrounding areas.

Teachers Anonymous
Teachers Anonymous is a small group that is made up of professional educators who gather together for support, fellowship, prayer and Bible study. We strive to live out our faith in our teaching careers. Our group includes a wide variety of teachers employed in all aspects of education. If teaching is your career, you will find a home in this group!

Men's Softball
Crestview participates in a local men's softball league.
League particulars: Cost is $20/person. Games are each Friday night at either 6:15pm or 7:30pm. The league runs from May through the middle of July, weather permitting. All games are at Keehner Park on Barrett Road in West Chester. The league is comprised of teams from Crestview, St. Max, St. John, Mother Theresa, and St. Susanna. It is a low- competitive league where fun and fellowship are the objective.

Sailing Team
The sailing team has boats at Hueston Woods and Cowan Lake. The team meets during the summer on an ad hoc basis for afternoon sailing on the various members’ boats. The team has also met at participant’s houses for socializing and has attended boat shows as a group.

Golf League
We play golf during the late Spring and Summer seasons about every other Sunday afternoon. The league chooses a local golf course to meet and play at.

Gardening
This group is open to anyone who likes to garden or who would like to know more about gardening. We do not hold regular meetings; we keep in touch via phone or email. We meet periodically to go to nurseries, specialty garden shops, flower shows or to gather at the home of a member to discuss gardening ideas/issues.

Aviation
This group is for anyone who has an interest in the field of aviation. The Aviation group is primarily concerned with fellowship, entertainment and education. We meet a number of times throughout the year at scheduled events. Historically, these events have been centered on a speaker presentation. Often, these speakers are current or former pilots, though sometimes the speaker is an expert in aviation technology. This group will also offer periodic fieldtrips to such events as the Dayton Air Show.

Are you interested in helping us to provide care for families in times of need? Or how about visiting seniors who are no longer mobile? Or maybe you'd benefit from the services of one of our care groups...
Crestview has a variety of ministries designed to help us take care of each other, and to take care of the community around us. From Intercessory Prayer to Cancer Support groups, we have a place for you to help, and to be helped.
Bereavement
When a member of our church or a family member of a parishioner passes away, our church offers to host and finance a luncheon for friends and family or a reception after a funeral service.

Intercessory Prayer Team
“Successful praying,” according to author David Mains, “is the ability to converse confidently with God, knowing that he is giving his full attention to what is being said, and that he will, in those matters where a response is required, intervene in a way consistent with what he knows to be good.”
The Intercessory Prayer Team consists of a group of people who are dedicated to praying. We pray for matters that are sometimes global in scope, but more often we pray for the needs and concerns of individual members of our congregation. We receive your prayer requests from the prayer cards that are received on Sunday mornings or through phone calls made to the church offices. All requests are kept confidential by our team.
Our team does not hold meetings. Our only contact as a team is via e-mail or regular mail. We welcome all who wish to join our prayer team. Individuals set their own prayer schedules.

Marriage Ministry Team
This team's mission is to provide programs that enrich the marriages of Crestview members and friends. Currently, Marriage Ministry offers couple-to-couple mentoring services for engaged and newly married couples. The team plans to offer marriage enrichment topics for Sunday school and/or small group discussions. The team meets quarterly.

New Babies
This ministry buys a gift bag of items for church families having their first child. Additionally, this group offers assistance for the family before and after the delivery; for example, planning meals.

Practical Needs
Primarily, this team mails cards to those who are ill and/or those in need of encouragement. Meals are sometimes provided for families dealing with stress, illness, injury, etc. We also offer transportation to and from the doctor’s office for those in need. We welcome additional members to this team; this is one Practical way to help our church family.

Visiting Shut-ins
This team consists of a group of people who firmly believe that every member of our congregation is important. The members of this team visit individual church members who are not able to leave their nursing homes or retirement communities.

Military Personnel Prayer Project
This is a new ministry, currently under formation. This project’s objective is to mail cards of encouragement to military personnel who are members, family or friends of our congregation. Since this is a new ministry at Crestview, we are in search of participants.
If you would like to write to the military personnel, please submit your name and phone # to Denise Pass at denisep@crestpres.org or Tyler Pettigrew at tylerp@crestpres.org or (513) 777-6555 ext. 19 (after 5 pm).
To enter a member of the military into our project, submit the following information to Tyler Pettigrew.
a. Name, address and phone # of the person submitting the information
b. Name and address (optional: email) for the military person entering our project.
c. Does the military person know about this project and want to be a recipient? If he/she is uninformed, do you take full responsibility for entering his/her name into the project?
Fellowship Time (coffee hour)
Fellowship Time is an opportunity to visit with friends, meet new people, enjoy refreshments, and gather church/community news. Fellowship Time is the located in the church’s gym (or Fellowship Hall). It goes on before and after the 9:30a.m. Sunday service.
Fellowship Hosts serve up to twice in a 12-month period; hosts serve morning refreshments to our congregation. Being a host is a great and entertaining opportunity to meet people at the church. It is an excellent way for new members to get acquainted with our congregation.

Cancer Ministry
If you or a loved one has recently been diagnosed with cancer, this ministry is available to offer practical information and emotional support. Each member of this group has experienced a bout with cancer and has valuable insight that might be helpful to you. This ministry’s goal is to offer hope and strength through interaction with people who have survived. We believe that it is essential to become your own advocate during the healing process. We have found that one of the most helpful medicines is to talk to people who have gone through the experience.
